Sino-Burkinabè Conference

On Friday, September 18, 2020, the Joseph Ki-Zerbo Conference Hall at the Résidence Prestige Hotel hosted the conference on International Relations and Post-Pandemic Sino-Burkinabè Cooperation: Challenges and Prospects.

Jointly organized by the Centre for Economic and Social Policy Analysis (CAPES) under the Presidency of Faso and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, the conference brought together approximately fifty participants in person, in addition to numerous online attendees.

The event was honored by the distinguished presence of Honourable Lassina Ouattara, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee and Burkinabè Abroad, representing His Excellency the President of the National Assembly; Mrs. Hadja Fatoumata Ouattara, Minister of Digital Economy and Postal Services; His Excellency Mr. Li Jian, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China; and His Excellency Mr. Seydou Zagré, Chief of Staff to the Presidency of Faso, who served as the Patron of the conference. All participants were duly acknowledged according to their respective titles and ranks.
